The National Latino Peace Officers Association – Fort Worth Chapter in partnership with Cowtown Events Inc. they will be hosting the Cowtown Cinco de Mayo 10th Annual Celebration on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 12noon – 10pm. The Fort Worth Chapter of the NLPOA was founded by members of the Fort Worth Police Department. We are a non-profit organization that was established in July 2004. Our mission entails a myriad of positive goals and objectives, which include some of the following:
We ask for your support by joining us in this upcoming celebration. A portion of the proceeds raised will be donated to our Association and will go directly to our scholarship program. The Fort Worth Chapter of the NLPOA will award scholarships to qualified Hispanic graduating high school seniors who are enrolled or are planning to enroll in accredited colleges, universities or vocational schools in the United States. Last Year’s Cowtown Cinco de Mayo was indeed a success with Cowtown Events President William Goodwin presented The National Latinos Peace Officers Ft Worth Chapter with a $10,000.00 check with everyone’s support we hope to surpass that amount at this years event..
